Highway A23 Blocked by Overturned Truck
A severe accident has forced the complete closure of Highway A23 at kilometer 27.3 near Constância, Portugal. A heavy goods truck crashed and overturned, blocking the lanes heading from Abrantes toward Torres Novas.
Emergency Response Deployed
Authorities received the initial emergency alert at 3:28 PM on September 1. A rapid response team of 12 operatives and five emergency vehicles immediately deployed to the crash site to secure the area.
Medical personnel and highway officials are currently assessing the scene. Authorities have not yet confirmed if the driver or any other motorists sustained injuries in the rollover crash.
